Hi. We are a Compañía, a graphic design, art direction and consultancy studio from Barcelona.
In the last 18 years we have worked in almost all aspects of design for publishing and cultural environment. Our clients range from small independent publishers to major publishing groups and institutions, in Spain and abroad.
During this time we have taken part in the launch of new publishers creating the graphic identity, developing collections, designing promotion. In small independent publishing initiatives with great ambitions and reduced budgets and in large format works with corresponding budgets.
We have designed communication for literary awards and titles with high sales expectations and their promotion in bookstores and webs. And we have worked with cultural managers in projects promoting literature overseas and on the communication of festivals and cultural events.
Compañía is directed by Xavier Banus and Armando Fidalgo, with Marta Rosell and Júlia Gaspar. Work shown here has been done with other people's collaboration, especially Sabrina Rinaldi, Helena Rosa Trias, Laurence Maigret and Leticia Ucin.
Our work has been awarded and exhibited internationally by the Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club of Europe, the ADG FAD and the Ministry of Culture, among others.
This past year we have developed external art direction and consultancy for publishers, and the creative direction of visual communications for an environmental program of AMB, together with RBA Libros.
